Hi leute,
bin langsam am verzweifeln, habe mir ispCP auf meinen root installieren wollen, (Debian 4.0 etch alles aktuell) und bin genau nach dem howto gegangen hat auch alles wunderbar geklappt, keine Fehler nichts is alles sauber durchgelaufen. und nun wenn ich es im browser aufrufen will kommt:
Cannot open the ispcp.conf config file !
Please contact your system administrator
habe auch schon gegooglet wie nen weltmeister aber kann leider nichts finden. meine letzte lösung wär den root zu plätten.
Hoffe ihr könnt mir helfen, danke schonmal.

gibt es denn eine ispcp.conf auf deinem System ?
Und wenn ja, was hat diese für rechte ?
Sollte unter /etc/ispcp/ liegen.

Ja diese ist vorhanden und habe auch schon rechte auf 777 gesetzt, und leider keine veränderung.

Welche Version von ispCP hast du installiert und nach welchem HowTo genau ?
Und die Fehlermeldung kommt wenn du auf die Weboberfläche willst ?

@BeNe: den chmod hatte ich ja auch nur zum testen gesetzt, ich habe das deutsche howto hier aus diesem forum benutzt.
ispcp version ispcp-omega-1.0.0-rc2b.tar.bz2 (also nich den snapshot, der auch nicht ging) und es kommt genau die meldung die ich oben gepostet habe.

RC2b ist aber uralt. Versuch es mal mit der RC2c oder noch besser dem aktuellen Trunk, falls du kein Updatescript auf die RC3 brauchst.

bei mir hat die Datei folgende Berechtigungen:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root vu2000 5834 2007-09-14 16:05 ispcp.conf
Und die Meldung kommt *wenn du ispcp via web ansprechen willst*?

habe die set permissions ausgeführt und es bleibt bei root root hm
ja diese meld kommt dann, auch sehr schön hier zu sehen http://resellbox.com/ [das nicht meine url] habe ich eben bei google gefunden.

wie mach ich das denn nun am besten [bin noch ein anfänger *zugeb*]? weil hier gab es nur diese http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=189485

Ich weiß jetzt nicht ob es in diesen Versionen einen Uninstaller gibt und wie gut der funktioniert. Wenn, dann müsste er unter /var/www/ispcp/engine/setup/ispcp-uninstall zu finden sein.
