ERROR: External command '/usr/sbin/groupadd -g 2000 vu2000' returned '9' status !

RE: Hi, error :( - joximu - 11-13-2007 11:38 AM

group vu2000 exists

this says it all.

You should uninstall ispcp first if you want to install it on a system where it is already installed.
BUT!!!! then databases and data will be lost - so take care, make a backup if needed.

What distro u using? When i have problem with installing ispcp i install fresh image debian etch 4.0+ ISPCP rc3

RE: Hi, error :( - gOOvER - 11-13-2007 09:03 PM

I installed ispCP many times on a fresh Debian etch image, but i don't have this error one time.

RE: Hi, error :( - joximu - 11-13-2007 09:07 PM

I think piotrekkpl did a second install without uninstall.

This is a problem with ispcp - the installer aborts if some of the things is not as expected... (well: it's boring but maybe Someone can fix this some time..)

RE: Hi, error :( - scoutsniper - 11-14-2007 03:42 AM

The uninstaller not work everyime return Can Not Conn to mysql server.

RE: Hi, error :( - BeNe - 11-14-2007 03:48 AM

mhhh i will test it...
@piotrekkpl

Try to clear your /etc/passwd with the vu2XXX users and test it again.
Same for /etc/group.
Also rename the ispcp DB if there is one.

RE: Hi, error :( - piotrekkpl - 11-14-2007 07:27 AM

How to uninstall ispCP ? //edit: ok i find uninstaller but have problem

ERROR: Unable to connect SQL server !

RE: Hi, error :( - BeNe - 11-14-2007 05:17 PM

as Scoutsniper said - this looks like an Error...
So we need a Ticket!

RE: Hi, error :( - joximu - 11-14-2007 05:52 PM

I think his ispcp installation is damadged. Because he tried to install, maybe the keys have been changed and now ispcp cannot connect to the database.

Let's go the manual way...

Or: if others can confirm problems with the uninstaller -> ticket...
