Wenn Du bei
$ cat /etc/hosts
Deine Config vom proftpd sieht, dann hast Du evtl. noch ganz andre Probleme...

also dein Problem ist erstmal die eigentliche grund konfiguration vom System...

Hattest recht... Habe nochmal gesucht und jemanden gefunden welcher einen falschen Hostnamen eingetragen hatte...
Also habe ich meinen geändert und es lief
