RE: RC3 - RatS - 10-18-2007 01:27 AM if you do not need an update-script feel free to download latest trunk and install it, there will be no more fixes - if no bugs found. If not is there one from RC2 to trunk? RE: RC3 - platzwart - 10-18-2007 05:22 AM there should be a possibility to upgrade between all RC's RE: RC3 - raphael - 10-18-2007 09:46 AM to upgrade from RC2: cd /var/www/ispcp/engine/setup; perl ispcp-uninstall; cd /path/to/untarred/install/; INST_PREF=/ make install; cd engine/setup/; perl ispcp-setup RE: RC3 - joximu - 10-18-2007 10:09 AM make a backup... afaik "ispcp-uninstall" erases the ispcp database... RE: RC3 - raphael - 10-19-2007 08:10 AM Quote:afaik "ispcp-uninstall" erases the ispcp database...it does. RE: RC3 - joximu - 10-19-2007 08:17 AM You're right - I read it more than once. But you know - many people do not read the old posts and do not think... ok, it's their problem but - well, I'd rather tell them to make a backup... - especially if someone asks about an upgrade (which is normally not a uninstall and install)... and - another thing: it was written in the forum that there will be upgrades from one RC to the next. I don't know why, I also was curious... - we'll see :-) RE: RC3 - gOOvER - 10-19-2007 01:02 PM Yes, you're right joximu. I mean RatS wrote it that it will be possible to upgrade from RC to RC. |
