im having the exact same problem on fedora on all builds after 10/14/2007.... ispcp_daemon is not chkconfig compatible, and will not start

if chkconfig is not installed on the system then please install it. You are admins, you should know that!

Chkconfig is installed on every redhat system but the startupscript doesn't support check config ...
use these startup scripts:
http://mirrors.penguinfriends.org/ISPCP/CentOS-5.0/ispcp_network
http://mirrors.penguinfriends.org/ISPCP/CentOS-5.0/ispcp_daemon

They support chkconfig
chkconfig --levels 3 6 ispcp_daemon on && chkconfig --levels 3 6 ispcp_network on

but hey perhaps ispconfig works better for you - who knows.

which btw I won't give support for

Distros should try to be LSB compliant, a lot of time is wasted because of all the different paths and custom changes needed.
