I miss my post; It's not fair to delete my post, it's my right to show what I'm thinking as the owner of ticket 55.

Does someone really delete your Post ?
This is my first time today on the board...
Can you post it again ?
And if so, which one deleted it ?

Well I did start developing something in way of a document for this but with demanding clients at the moment (the non web hosting clients) and moving my office work has stopped.

There are a few posts knocking around in regards to manual migrations though.

Hi RatS

I often had a look in this thread and never saw a post from you - maybe the sending was not successfull? I did not delete anything. And I don't think BeNe or breaki did.
Please post it again - we want to know what you think about it.

Thank you.

Same here, i had lost a post in this board too. But i blame it on that buggy forum here. Maybe you could write your opinion again. I'd like to hear/read your point of view. I don't believe that any mod here practises censorship.

Im curently developing a way to update the database through ispcp easily. The idea is taken from drupal. The how it works is my own hard work Tongue

So, we just need 1/2/3 update scripts which will update the files (configs, php`2 etc) (maybe based on svn?) and the rest will be done by ispcp itself.

I won't blame anyone.
I have to vote for "No". I gave the promise that you will be able to upgrade from RC to RC and I'll hold it.

Even if the VHCS -> ispCP will stay untested. I'll do the RC -> RC before releasing RC3.
Nevertheless I'll do a post in the internal Dev Board to discuss my opinion.

Very honorable that you are striving to keep your promise. But you don't have to Smile

Thank you RatS.
I thought about your promise and that you won't agree with the separation - but if something is going on now, then the poll has done the job.

So, what's the outcome of this thread? It's been over a month since the last post!

I honestly feel sorry for anybody who is still running RC2 because the latest trunk is magical. Although it still has a few hidden bugs here and there, it shouldn't be kept unreleased. I'd like to go for another round of promoting the RC3 release in the new year to get more people on board this project.
