It doesnt work When i try to login i get refused from the server!?! Also when i add an ftp user and i have to choose what dir he has to use i get this message: Error 404! /client/%7BLINK%7D File Not Found! RE: Ftp & file management problems. - gOOvER - 02-21-2008 05:45 PM Then use the IP from your server. This works. I get this error message from cuteftp: The remote host actively refused the attempt to connect to it. 1) Please verify that the destination host name or IP address is correct. 2) Verify that the connection port number is correct (under Site Settings | Type tab). 3) The remote server may be temporarily or permanently inaccessible (try again later). 4) Verify that you have chosen the right protocol (SSH2, SSL, FTP, etc.) and have setup all required options for that protocol. RE: Ftp & file management problems. - gOOvER - 02-21-2008 06:01 PM I don't know much about CuteFtp, i only use Filezilla or FlashFPX. The credentials has been removed RE: Ftp & file management problems. - Krisxxx - 02-21-2008 07:35 PM Could it be that the server is named localhost? I get this message when i enter filemanager: An error has occured Unable to connect to FTP server localhost on port 21. Are you sure this is the address of the FTP server? This is often different from that of the HTTP (web) server. Please contact your ISP helpdesk or system administrator for help. RE: Ftp & file management problems. - joximu - 02-21-2008 07:51 PM localhost is always the machine where you're on (webftp -> webserver, on your pc at home -> your pc at home etc). So this is only ok for webftp. Try looking at the logfiles. |
