RE: 500 error on admin - joximu - 02-27-2008 12:18 AM is there an error.log? /var/log/apache/users/admin.mydomain.tld.error.log or sth like this? /J RE: 500 error on admin - zekquel - 02-27-2008 12:45 AM yes, last line states: FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server "/var/www/fcgi/master/php5-fcgi-starter" RE: 500 error on admin - zekquel - 02-27-2008 12:50 AM and i found this on the forum: http://www.isp-control.net/forum/fastcgi-error-500-mod-fcgid-t-1839.html but i don't know very much english, and google translate dosen't work as good as it states RE: 500 error on admin - zekquel - 02-27-2008 01:02 AM here is a little fact: i rebooted the server, and now everything works fine... currently, i have 256 mb of ram, and i want to update to 512... would you think this would solve the problem for ever ? RE: 500 error on admin - joximu - 02-27-2008 01:17 AM read the thread about low ressource systems. Your server has a database, a webserver, a mailserver, a dns and som other services running - this all needs ressources. But it depends, what you want. My test system has only 128MB and it runs well - without much traffic/load of course... /J RE: 500 error on admin - zekquel - 02-28-2008 09:14 PM joximu Wrote:read the thread about low ressource systems. the real problem was: i had little overclocked my processor. THIS was causing fcgi to die. the ram were fine |
