RE: RAM requirements - Lucan - 03-31-2009 10:41 PM Quote:RAM doesn´t cost that much. For virtual Server, RAM is the most expensive thing and not every Hoster gives u the poibility to upgrade only the RAM, so u have to upgrade the whole package, which is quite "expensive" RE: RAM requirements - BeNe - 03-31-2009 10:59 PM Yes that´s right. But make only sense on low traffic sites. We can talk here hours around that topic ![]() In most cases modify the config to set more RAM free OR give your Server more RAM. Greez BeNe RE: RAM requirements - Lucan - 03-31-2009 11:16 PM Thats why i said, he can run some low traffic websites ;P RE: RAM requirements - ephigenie - 03-31-2009 11:19 PM if you want to get a long with low ram requirements, just switch of fastcgi and turn on mod_php. This will save you a lot of ram at the cost of security. But this can maybe be ignored if you're using the server exclusively and only with few domains.
