Did you try my advice? Code status 0 usually means a segfault. In this case you can not restart daemon and must be killed.
Sorry I did not read all your post just last with code status. After reading all your posts I see that you are using Centos 5.3. Nobody (as far as I know) did try Ispcp on this version (just 5.2). Can be also something else, but 99% this will solve.
