RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - PostmanX - 08-08-2008 06:27 PM its like a night built! I hope an working version comes with v1. RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - simple - 08-08-2008 06:41 PM I used a current version fresh from Sourceforge this morning, and most of the abovementioned errors are still there. fastcgi_ispcp.conf -- still placesholders in it proftpd.conf -- SQL-login-data missing (placeholders also) sure, these are easy to fix, but should nevertheless not be in a RC-Version. And especially not if this should be the last one before the final release. greets Markus [edit] I think as long as it is directly connected to the release, errors should be stated here also. New and recurring users would look here first on notes with problems with this version[/edit] RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - sci2tech - 08-08-2008 06:51 PM simple Wrote:fastcgi_ispcp.conf -- still placesholders in itIn docs it`s specified that you should not overwrite this to files (only /etc/ispcp/ mast be overwritten) if you are upgrading from rc5. Thats because this file are not modified at all. Please see step 9 in Update section RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - RatS - 08-08-2008 06:52 PM WHY don't you read the INSTALL file? Quote:9. Backup ispcp.conf and copy the /etc dircetory into your system (you may make backups): If you'd read it, your "Errors" won't have happened. RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - simple - 08-08-2008 09:54 PM I just did what most people do: i followed instructions bit by bit. Just as sci2tech proposed, I used the official doc for updating: http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/start/upgrade/rc If you change (important) details in the upgrade process, it should be standing somewhere public, not just in the readme files. I'm doing another RC5-RC6 update right now and fill in the gaps in the documentation. greets Markus RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - gOOvER - 08-08-2008 10:38 PM simple Wrote:If you change (important) details in the upgrade process, it should be standing somewhere public, not just in the readme files. We should have one place for the Docu and this is atm the Documentation. If something is to change, please change it there. I think noone really reads the readme in the Archive ![]() RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - DennisO - 08-08-2008 10:44 PM no idea - for my problem? ;D RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.0 RC6 released! - sci2tech - 08-08-2008 10:47 PM it seems that your mysql password is not set corect in ispcp.conf / ispcp-db-keys.pl. Please verify this files and if everithing seems ok try a manual regenerating for conf files.
