RE: Virtual ethernet and ispcp_network daemon - rbtux - 04-06-2010 07:14 AM @nuxwin it's not a bad thing to questioning new things... Otherwise the panel might get blown up with a lot of stupid stuff (not saying ip management is stupid. I think this is mandatory for ipv6) PS: Joxi does a great job supporting users. He told us several times that he don't have time for developing. I think his inputs are very valuable for the project. RE: Virtual ethernet and ispcp_network daemon - Nuxwin - 04-06-2010 07:52 AM I've moved my previous answers in our internal forum. RE: Virtual ethernet and ispcp_network daemon - sseitz - 08-09-2010 08:54 PM The referring bugtracker entry has no update since 3 month, only the duplicates are closed. Does anyone know the current state of this problem? Obviously, this hasn't been fixed in 1.0.6 since I needed to remove strange routing entries after updating some hosts from 1.0.4 / 1.0.5 to 1.0.6. (and then you do not need to bother about your pma... :-/ /J RE: Virtual ethernet and ispcp_network daemon - sseitz - 08-11-2010 11:10 PM (08-11-2010 08:34 PM)Qwerty256 Wrote: by the way, why developer doesn't give a howto - "how to upgrade from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6 and dont replace all config files". Well, there is a HowTo in the particular docs-folder (in my case: ispcp-omega-1.0.6/docs/Debian/INSTALL ) which also targets updates. As an excerpt: Quote:6) Update this works quite well. One should only be aware of doing former changes again. (I always modify the apache and php templates in /etc/ispcp/... to fit my needs) |
