ok, this is better.

first: we don't give support for vhcs2 at least no bigger support (I don't know vhcs2 very well). There are support forums for this.
But we encourage you to use ispcp - when it's released...

on the PIII 800: the whole linux doesn't work?
how far does debian boot?

Is it only one harddrive in both (P3 and P4) pcs?

There are many possibilities: where is grub installed on, how does the partitions look like, what is the size of the harddisc (older BIOS don't know the big harddiscs).

Maybe you get it to work by trying the grub commandline (afaik it's build in - see the grub website).

Maybe we should Stop at this point.
Look more like an Debian GRUB/Kernel Problem.

even i install the debian etch on the PIII
it does not work either,(there is no error during the installation)
