which ispcp.conf?

/etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf
I have discovered the password and he asks on the console again afterwards where I can enter and it seems like vote - because when I enter a wrong, then he says the direct SQL error..

Quote:ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
SQL Update failed.

Are you performing a fresh install or an update. because i can`t remember in update script where is necessary to enter mysql password. Can you enable debug and post here the output? mask any password if any is printed

ispcp/engine/ispcp-db-keys.pl contain a wrong mysql password. try to manually run ispcp/engine/ispcp-rqst-mngr. If I`m wright it should fail too and in this case you must restore cripted password from backup if any or change it (i don`t remeber where i sow what are the step to do this, if i find i`ll put here).
Found it: http://www.isp-control.net/ispcp/wiki/howto_dbchangepw

yes, i check this - because.. same error! :<

and:
server02:/var/www/ispcp/engine# ./ispcp-rqst-mngr
server02:/var/www/ispcp/engine#

---

Could it be that I have the update destroyed by a failed attempt to before with a slightly older package?

Have now the new RC 6 because - only to early days of RC 6 was not - so I waited to bug-fix!

gOOvER Wrote:I'm think as simple and i said this in the past also. We should have one place for the Docu and this is atm the Documentation. If something is to change, please change it there. I think noone really reads the readme in the Archive
That's too much to do for one person. Best is to follow track and see, why I - or someone else - has changed the files in doc-folder... I hope the documentation team can do this. And sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm a coder, atm...
