Lo del panel es normal, elimina el ftp y vuelve a instalarlo,

No se trata de que lo quites del panel, el panel lo unico que hace es reflejar tu sistema, eliminas el proftpd de tu servidor y lo vuelves a reinstalar.

nada.. los hedesinstalado con aptitude purge proftpd, istalado y reiniciado el servidor... ysigue sin conectar...

La verdad es que ya ando un poco mareado con el tema y no sé bien qué aparecía al principio, pero no me suena lo de: Are you sure this is the address of the FTP server? This is often different from that of the HTTP (web) server.

Esto... en el syslog tengo esta entrada.. porqué server.x3mdesign.com tiene esa IP??

Podría ser por la clave vftp?? No recuerdo cual puse al principio y si al reinstalar proftp hay que cambiarla en algún otro archivo... cómo podría reestablecerla??

Kurgans.. crees que si reemplazo proFTPd por pureFTP se solucionará el problema?? Necesito el servidor FTP... por lo civil o lo criminal Sad
