hi mr.x,

do you mean to just reinstall via "perl ispcp-setup" and then set "change" in the domain_status field of the domain table in the ispcp database?

Kind regards,
thoand

Hi,

I now reinstalled everything. When I then tried to reinstall joomla he told me that mysql is fine. So my mainproblem is fixed. But the former working homepage did not work until I renamed the .htacces. Befor I got an error 403. So how can I allow to use a .htaccess file in a domain.

regards thoand
Hi,

I found out that it is the "Options FollowSymLinks" part which causes the error. When I disable it, it seems to work well.

hm - this is only important if your web application uses symlinks (and this is not "nromal" - but sometimes an interesting way to share pgp applications...)

So you should know if your apps are using symlinks...

Hi,

no they are not. And via ftp they could not create any, so we could disable this option without loosing any functionality.

Thanks for your support!

So, after 5h and 15min things are back to normal now. If I had known that a reinstallation is that much faster than fixing the problem I had done this directly.

Well, it's easy to be wise after the event.
