Chkconfig ispcp_network service not working - polarbear541 - 03-20-2010 08:19 PM

Hi,

Whenever you try to add ispcp_network to chkconfig it says it isn't supported.
I am using CentOS 5.4

Many Thanks, Polar

RE: Chkconfig ispcp_network service not working - kafuse - 03-24-2010 04:19 PM

vi /etc/init.d/ispcp_network

add the follow line below the '#!/bin/sh'

# chkconfig: 2345 85 15
# description: ispcp_network service

now you can retry:
chkconfig --add ispcp_network
chkconfig --level 345 ispcp_network on

Hello

Centos don't provides insserv ?

Example:
Code:
# insserv -d /etc/init.d/ispcp_network

I think this command hould work normally.

Best Regards ;
