ispCP Not Honoring Bind Template? - xfallenangelx - 04-05-2010 05:36 PM Hi All, we are currently using ispCP to host a number of websites and their corresponding DNS. As we have a number of redundant DNS servers, as well as some extra default records we wish each domain to have, I have edited the /etc/ispcp/bind/parts/db_master_e.tpl file and adjusted the records accordingly. However, when I create the domain in ispCP, the file doesn't appear to get read. I just get the default file that i would normally get if i hadn't customized the db_master_e.tpl. I have restarted the ispCP daemon, bind, and the entire server but still get the same result. I have attached both the db_master_e.tpl file, as well as an example resulting BIND zone file. Have I done something wrong? Cheers. RE: ispCP Not Honoring Bind Template? - kurgans - 04-05-2010 06:49 PM You must regenerate configuration to implement changes in templates http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/doku.php?id=howto:ispcp:regenerate_config RE: ispCP Not Honoring Bind Template? - xfallenangelx - 04-06-2010 10:19 AM Hi there, I have attempted the advised procedure but the result is still the same, for both existing and new domains created. Any other ideas I can try? RE: ispCP Not Honoring Bind Template? - xfallenangelx - 05-06-2010 03:16 PM *BUMP* |
