Can't install required packages (non-free Area ?) - Webo - 05-08-2010 02:23 AM

Hello,

I'm new to ispCPOmega. I want to install it on an Ubuntu 10.04 Server, but I've some problems (on another server with Ubuntu 9.10 I don't). I've used this (http://isp-control.net/documentation/de:start:installation:ubuntu) guide to install it. Chapter 3 is making trouble: I'm not sure what I have to do with the "non-free Areas" (on the other server it was not necessary to change something). I typed in "apt-get install $(cat ./docs/Ubuntu/ubuntu-packages-`lsb_release -cs`)" and apt stops with an error: "cat: ./docs/Ubuntu/ubuntu-packages-lucid: No such file or directory".
It seems to be that the packages are not available in the repertoirsy. Can somebody please help me and explain what non-free Area means and what I have to add to the sources.list ?

Kind regards,

Webo
