CentOS 5.5 is out... did someone upgrade successfully? - foxb - 05-17-2010 11:15 AM CentOS 5.5 is out. Did someone upgrade successfully? What will be the procedure for minor OS upgrade? If your system is running fine with the right repo's and all, just do a yum update and you'll be fine. I did it too - everything seems to work I had only one exception ispcp_daemon seems to be off I had to start it manually? By the way since you mentioned right repos. Which one you use? I use base/updates/test(for php 5.2)/epel/rpmforge/remi(mysql). RE: CentOS 5.5 is out... did someone upgrade successfully? - fastgraph - 05-27-2010 06:28 PM I use base addons updates extras epel rpmforge. I don't need remy cause mysql runs on another server. Are you running stock PHP 5.2 or 5.3? RE: CentOS 5.5 is out... did someone upgrade successfully? - fastgraph - 05-29-2010 11:35 PM 5.2 and I do use remi for php, my mistake.. Be careful with remi tho, they're on 5.3 now.. RE: CentOS 5.5 is out... did someone upgrade successfully? - foxb - 06-02-2010 11:09 PM TNX I noticed that remi now has 5.3 I noticed that from 3-d party repos http://dl.iuscommunity.org/pub/ius/stable/Redhat/5/SRPMS/repoview/ Has latest php 5.2 Did someone tested them?
