First created domain = servers homepage??? - pingu - 07-30-2007 09:30 PM

I'm using VHCS2.4.8 on a server running debian etch.
Let's say servername is isp1.mydom.se
The domain mydom.se is not handled by VHCS-server, but by another DNS-server - it's the companies main domain.

I know I shall use isp1.mydom.se/vhcs2 to access loginpage, that's ok.
But I would like to use the servers default - isp1.mydom.se - for general info about our services.
However, that adress gives me the homepage of the first domain created in VHCS, or the last added subdomain of this first domain!
How can I change this?

Also, maybe related, other clients can't use their own domain as mail and ftp-server (like "mail.clientdomain.com") but has to use servers name ("mail.mydom.se")
However, my first domain can use it's own serveraliases?
The homepages works fine, so DNS is ok.
In /var/cache/bind/domain.db there are several lines like:
mail IN A <serverip>
ftp CNAME clientdomain.st.

The entries are identical for all domains, including the first one.

so you're talking about vhcs2.4.8 - please upgrade to ispCP since a lot has changed since then.

Pls understand that we won't support vhcs here as we're working on ispCP.

I know lots have changed, just hoped someone might know how to fix my problem.
I don't want to upgrade before there's a stable version.

you can come around that if you add a extra file with a vhost with your default domain.

And give it as Servername your IP
