Safe to recompile php5? - dwessell - 06-26-2010 03:04 AM I'm install drupal on an ubuntu server running ispcp. And I get messages regarding the GD image library. Apperantly ubuntu installs php5 with the official gd library, and not the one bundled with php.. Which leads to some perfomance issue. My quuestion is since ispcp is in the mix, and I'm just learning how it works, am I safe to recompile php5? Thanks David RE: Safe to recompile php5? - gOOvER - 06-26-2010 03:59 AM This has nothing to do with ispCP. -> Moved to Smalltalk RE: Safe to recompile php5? - dwessell - 06-26-2010 09:15 PM Perhaps I should restate my question. If I reinstall php5 on this ubuntu machine, will it cause any havoc with what ispcp does? Thanks David RE: Safe to recompile php5? - gOOvER - 06-26-2010 09:21 PM Make Backups and try it Normally ispCP use ready Compiled packages |
