FTP ROOT - kurdak - 12-12-2010 03:45 AM Hello. I wanted to know how to log into the ftp root. I need access to all files on the server, and ftp is the easiest for me. Please help. Yours sincerely RE: FTP ROOT - fluser - 12-12-2010 04:41 AM Use SSH instead if FTP because security reason. WinSCP is the tool of your choice for Windows. Best Regards Fluser RE: FTP ROOT - motokochan - 12-12-2010 06:39 AM Because of the way the file permissions are handled, you can't do this (easily). Each website runs under a unique user and group to provide better security separation. The FTP user's id has to line up with the id for the website user to write files. |
