XEN SSH issue - rbtux - 09-12-2007 01:47 AM Does anybody around knows xen? I've installed it to test ispcp. It works like expected, except that the ssh conncetion is terminated from time to time. I tuned the nice value of the sshd process (to -10). It seems to be better now... Any ideas? RE: XEN SSH issue - BeNe - 09-12-2007 02:23 AM Serverload Ok ? Any log entry´s ? I never tested XEN - but OpenVZ. Greez BeNe RE: XEN SSH issue - rbtux - 09-12-2007 02:25 AM serverload ok... nothing specific ssh... openvz - what can you say about that (performance/managment/etc)? RE: XEN SSH issue - BeNe - 09-12-2007 05:12 AM OpenVZ has a very good performance, you can run more than 100 Machines on a good Server. You have one core commandline tool "vzctl" which can do all for you. You can create your own OS Templates or download an ready OS Template and start it in less than 2min. The main different to XEN is that you are not able to modify the Kernel in any way. Can be good or nor in some situations. Some small Projects started to write a WebBase GUI to Manage it. But never tested one - not stable this time.
