problem reverse dns - kiby - 05-28-2011 05:52 AM Hello. I'm using for several days, the control panel ispCP Omega and I am very well. Through the forum I could solve many problems and the documentation has helped me to overcome some obstacles. My problem is that I have set the reverse DNS to SMTP. How can I do? I use ubuntu 9.10, ispCP 1.0.6, bind9. Could someone kindly help to solve the problem? Thank you in advance. Sorry for my bad English but I know little RE: problem reverse dns - kilburn - 05-28-2011 01:51 PM I'm afraid that we can not help you in this. Basically, the reverse dns is controlled by your provider (unless you bought a network block). Hence, you should contact them and ask them to set whatever name you want as the reverse dns for your IP. If they are a big provider, chances are that they already have an option for you to do it using their "admin panel". RE: problem reverse dns - kiby - 05-28-2011 06:01 PM Hello kilburn, thanks for your reply. The company to which I support for the housing service is rather great, and I gave the panel Plesk to manage domains that purchase. From there I can manage the DNS for each domain. The problem is I do not think I have not seen any option that allows me to do the reverse dns. I will try to ask the provider! Thanks again! |
