Ispcp uses whatever apache version that is installed on your server. Therefore, if you want to manually build it, just make sure that you compile the modules required by the panel (alias, fcgid, log_config, logio, actions, auth_basic, authn_file, authz_default, authz_groupfile, authz_user, cgid, rewrite) and to place the binary/config scripts in the default locations.
