Backup function disabled for some users - Sweeny - 10-08-2007 04:29 AM

Hi there,

I think it could be a nice feature to disable the backup function for some users, because in some cases the hoster doesn't want to offer a backup function to all of his customers but to some of them (e.g. business customers).

Regards,

Sweeny

That would also be a great function for me!

Perhaps it could already been implemented, when a new user will be created, that the Reseller can create different packages, with and without these option.

Maybe this could also be done for the awstats, when they are completely integrated in ISPCP, so that the Reseller can force it to user-accounts or not.

Hi

sorry didn't see the ticket :x
But is this meant in the way to disable the function for each user indivdually or generally in the hole panel?

Greetings

Sweeny

#579: completely disable backups

there's a ticket I opened long ago requesting the disable in a per-user basis feature but it's milestone is 1.1.0

oh ... so it would take a long time until 1.1.0 so I have to look for my own solution :-/

And then you can give "your own solution" to "our" developers...

I don't think that they want to have it ^^ it might be a kind of dirty code without gui or something just to get it work.

But if I have time to code a interface to the function I will inform you.
