New question about the IP - kelyiu3000 - 08-19-2011 04:11 PM

Following the previous post:
http://isp-control.net/forum/thread-14849.html

I have installed the ispcp to have a test
I find that there are DNS zone's records function in ISPcp.
Here is my question, can i set my internal IP in DNS zone's records function rather than set it in /etc/ispcp/bind/parts/*.tpl?

And i find that I cannot use ns type in DNS zone's records, does ISPcp support?

I think it's better to change the dns template files rather than the ispcp core functions.

As to your second question, I don't really understand what you mean.
The primary and secondary name servers can be set during the installation, and if you want to use more servers, you can always change the templates.

But, as with any other changes, don't forget to write them down for any future upgrade/reinstallation.
