Migrate ISPCP 1.0.7 Debian Squeeze to new physical server - robbo007 - 02-21-2013 06:37 PM

Hi all,
I'm currently running 1.0.7 under Debian Squeeze. My hardware is too old and I want to migrate ISPCP and all my users data to a brand new server.

This is the process I'm looking to do. Would be great to know if there is anything else I'm missing.

Install Debian Squeeze on new server
Install ISPCP 1.0.7 on new server
Export all ddbb from old server
import all ddbb to new server
copy /var/spool, /var/www/, etc into the new server
copy /etc/apache2 /var/www /var/spool /var/cache/ to new server

Anything else I'm missing? Would be good to also know what main directories I need to copy for ISPCP.

Thanks,
Rob

I'd really think twice if you would not rather switch to a newer adminpanel... there are two forks from ispcp and here it doesn't look like a big future... :-(

You follow the advice of joximu,
Here is a howto to move that machine and then update

It's something old a route can be altered

Many thanks. That's the exact guide I was looking for. I will test it on a VM machine then plan the live date...
