deleted domain in ispcp.conf - Raro - 02-24-2013 05:19 AM

Hi all

I have a problem with a couple of domains which i deleted. They keep reappearing in the ispcp.conf apache file.
I checked the ispcp database and in the domain table they can't be found. But somehow ispcp is generating the deleted domains in the config file.
As a temporary fix i delete the lines of the domain from this config file, but on each change in ispcp the lines are regerated so this is getting annoying.

Can anyone help me solving this irritating issue

@raro
check the working copy:

/etc/ispcp/apache/working/httpd.conf

if the deleted domains are there, then something went wrong with the deletion... - but then you should look in the ispcp-logs from the deletion date... maybe there you will find something...

HeY Joximu
Thanx for your reply

I checked /etc/apache2/sites-available/ispcp.conf (i don't have your file), and it seems all deleted domains are in there.
Since it's too long ago i can't really check the logs anymore.
I still think that there must be some file db or something, since i can't find the deleted domains in the mysql db.

You got any more hints i can use?
btw when i delete a already "deleted" domain from the /etc/apache2/sites-available/ispcp.conf it is regenerated again after making a change in the ispcp control panel, again, this domain is no where to be found in the mysql db

Hi.

Can you please post the output of the following commands...

# ls -la /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ispcp.conf

# ls -la /etc/apache2/sites-available/ispcp.conf

# ls -la /etc/ispcp/apache/working/ispcp.conf

With this information, maybe I can help you...

RE: deleted domain in ispcp.conf - Raro - 05-17-2013 03:05 AM

lrwxrwxrwx 1 xxx xxx 29 2010-06-29 16:14 /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ispcp.conf -> ../sites-available/ispcp.conf

-rw-r--r-- 1 xxx xxx 884048 2013-05-13 13:10 /etc/apache2/sites-available/ispcp.conf

-rw-r--r-- 1 xxx xxx 922757 2013-05-13 13:01 /etc/ispcp/apache/working/ispcp.conf
And note that the first file has a different timestamp because i have to edit it all the time

RE: deleted domain in ispcp.conf - joximu - 05-20-2013 05:29 AM

ok, not only the timestamp is different... also the size.

If the domains are really deleted in ispcp (have a look in the ispcp-database...) - then you better make your manual changes on the "working copy"... then they are persistent... :-)

/J

ps: working copy is the third file... /etc/ispcp/apache/working/ispcp.conf ...

Thanx joximu

That did the trick!!!
Retested it by adding a subdomain, and it seems the files are updated correctly now Smile

This saves me a lot of trouble, thanx again!
