Dear,
I want will do my database externally. I have everything already entirely ready geinstalleerd. Mysql-server twist perfectly on another server. I want will install now ISPCP but then localhost modify to: another IP_adress. On end I get ERROR: Unable to connect SQL server! Whereas I use the database already for my own site's therefore that work ordinary good. A someone here idea? I must will install ISPcontrol therefore still.

I mean, it's n ot possible to use an external MySQL Server. You have to use the SQL Server, where ispCP is installed.

Is there any Firewall on both Server ?
Can you connect via mysqladmin to the Server ?
Any Log entry´s ?

I somewhere read that ispcp-setup does not set the "host" field correct when creating the ispcp-users. It always sets "localhost" even if you give another host as mysql server.
Maybe it's already fixed but you should keep an eye on this...
