Mhhh but these are all Apache values and you said that you allow "FollowSymlinks" in you apacheconfig. Hower so i can mark this thread as solved ?

Hi,

I am having this problem as well...but all I am doing is password protecting a directory

AuthName "Member's Area"
AuthType Basic
AuthUserFile /etc/.htpasswd
Require valid-user

something i am missing?
