New installation and download dialog box? - arya6000 - 01-25-2008 03:37 AM Hello I just installed ispcp on a fresh Debian 4.0 and when I go to my domain or admin.domain.com I get a download dialog box asking me if I want to Save to disk or open. Is this a common problem? Any ideas on what went wrong? RE: New installation and download dialog box? - joximu - 01-25-2008 04:18 AM Did you install libapache2-mod-fastcgi? /Joximu RE: New installation and download dialog box? - arya6000 - 01-25-2008 08:55 AM joximu Wrote:Did you install libapache2-mod-fastcgi? Yes, I didn't do it at the time, do I have to start all over again? RE: New installation and download dialog box? - joximu - 01-25-2008 09:26 AM no. but it seems that this module is not loaded. Can you post the output of "apache2 -M" Then: what's in the apache error and suexec log? /J RE: New installation and download dialog box? - raphael - 01-25-2008 09:44 AM Quote:Yes, I didn't do it at the time, do I have to start all over again?you MUST have that package installed before installing ispCP RE: New installation and download dialog box? - joximu - 01-25-2008 09:54 AM Ah - now I read your post (#3) in a different way: So, if you installed fastcgi after ispcp-setup, then I'd say: run reset-setup and then ispcp-setup again... /J RE: New installation and download dialog box? - arya6000 - 01-25-2008 10:13 AM joximu Wrote:Ah - now I read your post (#3) in a different way: I started over and it works now, thank you RE: New installation and download dialog box? - BioALIEN - 01-25-2008 12:12 PM arya6000, did you follow the installation guide when you encountered this error? I'm asking to make sure whether we need to make it clear in the Documentation about "libapache2-mod-fastcgi" if it wasn't very obvious? RE: New installation and download dialog box? - joximu - 01-25-2008 06:30 PM I'd put a warning in the docu, something like "Check if all packages are installed before running ispcp-setup - especially libapache-fastcgi...." or so... :-) The better solution 'd be: ispcp-setup checks the packages.... /J |
