Change control panel entry domain to sub - Smallserver - 01-26-2008 05:18 AM Hi There, Sorry if this is a dup, could not find it after half an hour of searching. I installed ispcp and do my administration (login to ispcp) on http://www.mydomain.tld/ First of all, I want to change this to admin.mydomain.tld/ (I did not do this during installation. But how do I do that without installing from scratch? Secondly, if I get it moved, can I use http://www.mydomain.tld as a normal domain, i.e. add it to ispcp as a user and put a website there? Thanks in advance, Herman RE: Change control panel entry domain to sub - joximu - 01-26-2008 06:45 AM You should do a better research... but ok, you apologized... :-) You change the admin-url in /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf, in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/00_master.conf and its copy in /etc/ispcp/apache/working/00_master.conf restart apache and then you should be ok. You can also use domain.tld but maybe it's necessary to reduce the possibilities of connecting to the normal domain. Normally all *.domain.tld are accepted (ServerAlias) - this may interfere with admin.domain.tld - so you need to change some ServerAlias in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ispcp.conf after creating the domain.tld in ispcp (and dont' forget the working copy in the other place...). Maybe it works without any change... /Joximu |
