Release date of ispCP RC4 ? - DaSilva - 02-20-2008 05:58 PM

The news say "We won't update the packages because RC4 is shipped out soon."
So my question is:
What is meant with "soon"?
Because I want to migrate from VHCS2 2.4.8 RC1 to ispCP and I want to know if it is useful to wait few more days.
An update from RC3 to RC4 is possible, too, isn't it?
Thanks in advance.

Normally it should be possible to upgrade from RC3 to RC4.

No dates - soon means soon but in worst case this can be some months...

Updates from RC to RC should be possible.

probably 3 to 6 month, as far I know RC4 is concentrate on other distro other than debian so if you are using debian should be no problem if you not wait RC4

RC4 also contains Bugfixes. Wink

And should I use a current nightly build or better RC3?

Use RC3. If you are using a nightly, there is no warranty that you can update to RC4.

Well, there is no warranty at all - but if you're not knowing to much about linux and the services which are covered here, then an update will be easier for you when you stay with the RC versions.
