We have to decide which license we use for the documentation...

I think GNU FDL or some CC based one would be good...

RE: License - gOOvER - 02-22-2008 02:34 PM

http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/deed.de

RE: License - rbtux - 02-22-2008 06:07 PM

Wll commrecial use should be allowed IMHO

RE: License - rbtux - 02-22-2008 06:14 PM

maybe this one:
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ (Full license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/)

RE: License - rbtux - 02-22-2008 06:16 PM

ore a dual license modell.

Where users who want to use the documentation commercially have to donate a humble amount of money to the project...

RE: License - gOOvER - 02-22-2008 06:25 PM

That sounds good. Is there an common Licence around with this Model? Or we use this one with the commercial part and when they donate, we give an allowens.

RE: License - rbtux - 02-22-2008 06:30 PM

I'm not a lawyer... so i don't know whats possible...
We also can use an non-commercial license and a proprietary license...

RE: License - gOOvER - 02-22-2008 06:33 PM

Hm, i don't know Smile Maybe someone knows more Smile

RE: License - gOOvER - 02-22-2008 08:52 PM

Okay, i think we take the CC. Now we have to choose between

CC BY-ND and
CC BY-NC-ND

If we choose CC BY-ND, commercial using will cost a Licencefee.

sounds good to me. Lets the devs have a word about it...
