Hallo an Alle!
Ich habe seit Tagen immer wieder meinen Server neu aufgestzt, weil ich immer wieder ein Problem mit der Installation hatte.
Nun bin ich total verzweifelt und möchte den Server am liebsten aus dem Fenster werfen!
Ich habe anfangs nach dieser Anleitung gearbeitet, denn ich habe ein Debian Etch System: http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/start/installation/debian
Und als das nicht geklappt hat (habe es bestimmt 2 - 3 mal ausprobiert)
habe ich nach dieser Anleitung installiert:

Und dann ging auch alles, allerdings fehlte nun noch die ispcP Oberfläche, also habe ich mir das Tutorial angesehen und alle Schritte ausgeführt.
Bis zu diesem Befehl, ging alles super:

Starting web server (apache2)....Wenn ich "stop" eingebe kommt diese Meldung:

Stopping web server (apache2)...httpd (pid 32013?) not runningIch hoffe, euch fällt noch ne Lösung ein.
Bei Fragen, einfach posten, ich schreibe dann so bald wie möglich zurück.

hast du es schon damit versucht?

das ist ja bei jedem ispCP Paket dabei...
Wenn du Apache Probleme hast, dann würde ein Blick in die Logfiles sehr wahrscheinlich weiterhelfen. *error.log und suexec.log sind sicherlich da... (/var/log/apache/... und Unterverzeichnis users)

Im Wiki (englischer Teil, deutsch weiß ich im Moment nicht, wie aktuell die ist.) steht nichts anderes als in der Anleitung die dem Archiv beiliegt. (mit Ausnahme des Punktes zum Anpassen der ispcp.conf. Dieser wird ein wenig umfangreicher in der Wiki.)
Außerdem würde ich keine Externe Anleitung verwenden, da es keine Gewähr auf Richtigkeit und Aktualität gibt.
Was genau hat bei der Installation nicht geklappt?

In einer Mail stand, dass ich 256 MB Ram habe...

Ist das ein OpenVZ bzw. Virtuosso-System?

Mir hängt's langsam zum Hals raus, diese vServer Sachen.
Im Prinzip reicht auch 128MB - klar, nicht geeignet für grosse Websites, aber für den Privatgebraucht und zum ispCP kennenlernen oder testen reicht es gut. Wieso geht das mit vServer nicht? Wieso gibt's da immer so seltsame Fehler, die dann die Leute verunsichern und Problem verursachen, die nicht normal sind.

- Weil die Server durch künstliche Beschränkungen (Stichwort kmemsize) nicht das hergeben, was sie sollten.
- Weil einige glauben, dass ein vServer für 5 Euro von einem Anbieter, der nicht mehr Ahnung hat als sie selbst, genau das Richtige ist.
