Traffic count with RC3 - DocSnyd3r - 03-02-2008 11:06 PM Hi, have a new Debain Etch running for a couple of days and the Traffic was only counted for one day. All other Days have a traffic of 0B this is not only web traffic but also ftp and so on. With awstats the traffic is shown, also on an older build close after RC2 on my other system this works fine. What I changed is disable FTP access without ssl (chose dir does not like this and don't works anymore) and force https on user interface with rewrite rule and instructions to enable https in the howto section here. RE: Traffic count with RC3 - BeNe - 03-02-2008 11:19 PM Does the network_ispcp daemon run ? Start the Cronjobs manuell and check the output. Greez BeNe RE: Traffic count with RC3 - DocSnyd3r - 03-03-2008 01:26 AM He thinks he is started, but I don't see him. Code: ./ispcp_network start PS crontab -u vu2000 -l list no cronjobs user root has also none. PPS /etc/init.d/apach2e start works after a reboot without an error, but is not up by himself after reboot. Have this on 2 independent machines with fresh etch image. RE: Traffic count with RC3 - T0mcat - 03-03-2008 01:44 AM What do these logs tell you ? Quote:/var/log/ispcp/ispcp_network.err.log I'm having the same problem since update to RC3, but as I'm moving to a new server in the next days, I didn't care anymore about this problem. RE: Traffic count with RC3 - DocSnyd3r - 03-03-2008 03:20 AM /var/log/ispcp/ispcp_network.log iptables: Chain already exists iptables: Chain already exists iptables: Chain already exists iptables: Chain already exists ispcp_network.err.log is not present RE: Traffic count with RC3 - joximu - 03-03-2008 05:00 AM why do we have several threads abou the same thing? RE: Traffic count with RC3 - DocSnyd3r - 03-03-2008 08:33 PM Sorry I did not see the other thread since the topic is somewhat confusing. RE: Traffic count with RC3 - DocSnyd3r - 03-04-2008 07:26 PM After a reboot the traffic is counting again, I will do no further testing since RC4 is already knocking on my door. RE: Traffic count with RC3 - joximu - 03-04-2008 08:00 PM I think it's a iptables problem (server traffic) btw: where is your door???? /J |
