move to new machine - D57452 - 03-05-2008 07:35 PM

how can i move the current ispcp to a newly installed debian machine perfectly?

I'd install ispcp on the new machine (same mysql root pw), and then move the db_key files (see docu about nightly updates) from the old to the new server and of course the config files (a good selection of files and folders from /etc/) and the ispcp database and the user data and user databases...

one more question, rc3 or rc2 is better?

rc3!

just take care about the ispcp config files when copying them from the old server.

maybe better try to upgrade the ispcp on the old before migrating to the new...?
