[SOLVED] Auto generated passwords vs. own ones - HSorgYves - 03-27-2008 09:03 AM

Re,

Changing the ispCP ftp SQL user and/or the ispCP phpMyAdmin Control user doesn't make sense to me. Is there any reason to do so?

But what about auto generated passwords vs. own ones. Is there a reason to use auto generated ones?

Thanks,
Yves

You can change both of them.

The one for vftp should also be copied to the right place in proftpd.conf and the one for pma in the right place in the pma config...

auto generating is for the uncreative admins... :-)

Some months ago there were auto gererated passwords causing problems this was a reason to change them...

Where is the pma information stored?

Yves
