VHCS Java Hosting - grungy - 03-29-2007 06:04 AM

Today a friend asked me if my VHCS Server supports Java Hosting...Server why not, but VHCS..that's the problem...

any plan for this?

Look at this:

http://www.hostsyst.com/en/

Code:
Java VHCS Support
VHCS is one of the most flexible hosting softwares. Hostsyst developed upgrade package for VHCS 2.4.7.1 that enables JSP/Servlet Tomcat Application Server to be automatically configured.

As far as I know, Tomcat is on the wishlist so eventually with enough time and contribution we will get there. The list you posted definately shows that it's possible and can be done Wink

Could mod_jk help here ?

What exactly do you need ?
A Tomcat server need many memory and cpu.
You can it install manually if you need it this time.

Im looking also for a solution about it.
Open-Xchange need Java too and they use mod_jk.

I've read some good things about mod_jk so let's give it time and see how the Omega developers decide to attack the wishlist.
