oh, I forgot: before you copy them, please make a "make install" and copy the ./srv/www/ispcp folder of your temp-dir (should be /tmp/ispcp/

Hi

the update script is only for the RC Versions - not the daily/nightly snapshots.

You select to update from RC4 to RC5 - RC5 is not released yet. But you can enabled debug mode in ispcp.conf and maybe this helps to find the problem.

Uninstall? well there's a script in the setup folder which contains the name uninstall...

caution: you will loose all ispcp config (customer settings etc) and I think also the websites and mails from customers...

joximu:

Thanks for your help, ill try that when i get contact to my server again... (fucked up ISP ....)

But again, thanks for telling me that the update script aint working

And for all the configs... Well, havent done anything yet, since its a fresh install that never worked Wink

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems... - DiXeoN - 04-04-2008 05:51 PM

now i ran the uninstall script, and tried to install the trunk...

But then this error came up....

Quote:ERROR: External command '/usr/sbin/postmap /etc/postfix/ispcp/aliases /etc/postfix/ispcp/domains /etc/postfix/ispcp/mailboxes /etc/postfix/ispcp/transport /etc/postfix/ispcp/sender-access &> /tmp/ispcp-setup-services.log' returned '1' status !

AGAIN!

What the heck am i doing wrong?

Can anyone please give me a full guide, in here, to uninstall the old version, simply remove all of it, and then to install the new from beginning?

That would really be nice!
