my site (http://www.frede92.lir.dk) doesnt respond at all, and the same for the admin part (http://www.admin.frede92.lir.dk)

Why?

is apache running?

in opensuse it's important that you define which services should start in which runlevel.

Either do it in yast (install "yast2-runlevel" after that's it's in the yast menu) or with "insserv" and so on...

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems... - DiXeoN - 04-06-2008 07:23 PM

i have done it with insserv, and so, but ill check in yast too..

[EDIT]

In yast, apache is selected to start up with the system.

well, port 80 does not response... (25 neither, 110 is refused) - so maybe a dns or a nat problem?

RE: OpenSUSE 10,3 problems... - DiXeoN - 04-06-2008 08:20 PM

well, i can easily connect to port 22,

DNS problem, yes, it could be, but it doesnt respond to IP too on port 80?

What can i do to fix this problem?

Apache/2.2.4 (Linux/SUSE)

This is what i get with lynx on 127.0.0.1 on the server...

What are the hostname/domain settings of the server?
(I miss a hostname in the URL as frede92.lir.dk should be the domain?)

And what have you used in the ispcp setup?
(should be hostname.frede92.lir.dk and admin.hostname.frede92.lir.dk)

How ist the setup of the dyndns service?
(there should be a option like 'Allow Wildcards' activated)

I use also a dyndns service for testing and e.g. my settings are 'test' as hostname and 'myuser.no-ip.org' as domain.
So i connect with admin.test.myuser.no-ip.org to the admin interface, without the www.

hmm, i guess ill try to relook at my settings, and see if that will help..
