Backups-folder check - Buffer - 04-05-2008 02:49 AM Hi, Everyone knows how ispcp "locks" down the account if the backups-folder inside the users home-dir is unwritable. Lock down is done via updating the account status in mysql. When is this backups-folders existence checked? When the backup-script runs? We're using a new backup solution these days and I've deleted the backups-folders but just remembered that darny,,, ispcp might not actually like this. We're not running the backup-scipt anymore. *I'm in a quite of a hurry atm. so I hope a quick answer RE: Backups-folder check - joximu - 04-05-2008 07:49 AM AFAIK the backup script itself will create the backup folders (or if you create a new or change an existing account?). So disabling the backup in cron should do it. I never heard of a lock down if the backup folder does not exist. /J |
