How stable is ISPCP - dragon001 - 03-31-2007 09:47 PM I am Using VHCS at the moment for Hosting several Sites. I am thinking of switching the vhcs to ISPCP. But i would need to if you can use already for productive usage. I don't want to reinstall everything again on my Server. I just want to use it, but i have no where to test it an an vServer or so. thx draco RE: How stable is ISPCP - RatS - 04-01-2007 07:50 AM VHCS Omega RC1 is not for productive Systems. Some tools still not work (PHP5, AWStats); there is no update HowTo from VHCS 2.4.x, because, we don't know, how to update. I do not command an update! VHCS Omega can be used in Testing and newly installed environments. RE: How stable is ISPCP - BioALIEN - 04-01-2007 10:15 AM So in other words, update/upgrade from VHCS 2.4.x is not encouraged at this stage. Usage of VHCS Omega on live production environment is also not recommended at this stage. RE: How stable is ISPCP - dragon001 - 04-02-2007 05:56 AM but why is ispcp published as Version 1.0? RE: How stable is ISPCP - BeNe - 04-02-2007 05:59 AM Take a look at the news --> http://www.isp-control.net/news/news/version-numbering-changed.html Greez BeNe RE: How stable is ISPCP - dragon001 - 04-02-2007 06:12 AM so, ok this answers my question to an certain spott. How long will it take, until ispcp is ready for productive use. thx draco RE: How stable is ISPCP - BioALIEN - 04-02-2007 08:42 AM Nobody answers this question. It's simply ready when its ready. You can have a look at Development > Roadmap to get an idea on how much is left to go and a general overview of the progress. But the final answer will remain the same. When there are no more critical bugs, the final 1.0 version will be released. |
