Upgrade from VHCS installed by apt-get - digibyte - 04-21-2008 09:11 PM

What is the best way to upgrade a VHCS installation that was previously installed by "apt-get install vhcs"?

Good Question.
You can try to Upgrade to ispCP with the Update Script and then remove VHCS with apt-get. But only remove and not purge. The most needed Folders/Files should be renamed to ispCP with the Upgrade step. But i am not really sure Shy

If it is possible to delete a package from the package manager without deleting the files that came with this package, then this would be a solution. But I don't know if this is possible and how you can do that.
