What happens, when you start the daemons by hand?

RE: Server status ?? - GooCarlos - 04-24-2008 01:32 AM

These services were not started automatically, I do not know how to set up.

RE: Server status ?? - sowosammerneger - 04-24-2008 02:50 AM

Well, what kind of OS do you use?
Maybe you start with a manual of that and see how daemons are stopped and started?

I installed it on an minimal install of Debian etch and it had nearly no problems out of the box.

fix the other proftp problem first! then this will be ok too...

GooCarlos does not use Debian - but I don't write what he is using (he mentioned it in another thread) that's his job.

how should we possibly know whats the problem if you don't provide logfiles / infos about the system etc... ????

RE: Server status ?? - joximu - 04-24-2008 07:32 PM

I think there's no problem with the server status it reflects only the services that are running.

We need a "redhat supporter" to help GooCarlos... I'm not familiar with this distro...
