RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-21-2008 10:17 PM Hi all, Thanks for all the work - it is looking good.... However, I updated from RC2 to RC5, and got a load of missing php.ini errors.... See the output of my upgrade (with passwords and identifying info removed for obvious reasons)... Can anyone shed some light for me on what I need to do? /var/www/ispcp/engine/setup# perl ispcp-update Welcome to ispCP '1.0.0 RC5 OMEGA' Update Dialog. Left server name in address] RE: RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-21-2008 10:32 PM Hi All, Just to add to that, I'm also getting:- Error: AWStats database directory defined in config file by 'DirData' parameter (/var/cache/awstats) does not exist or is not writable. Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.xxxxxxx.co.uk.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong. Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory). When I try to check AWStats... Any ideas? RE: RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-21-2008 10:59 PM Sorry all.... Emails also aren't coming in... See bounceback.... I know user xxxxx exists, because I can log into the webmail account and use it that way.... I should say, I have updated it to forward to my gmail account as well as working as an email address, but that should be working now - right? Jx This is the mail system at host xxxxxxxxx.co.uk. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. The mail system <xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk>: unknown user: "xxxxxx" RE: RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-21-2008 11:16 PM Ok - the mail thing - the accounts I have added forwarders to... They now appear with Account Type - Domain Mail Unknown Type on them.... When I log in to change them, I only get the option to change the forwarder... I can't set up the account... I could probably delete them and recreate them (there's not many) - but how would I ensure I don't lose all the saved emails? Cheers, Jx RE: RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-22-2008 06:01 AM Hi, I tried the sql query mentioned in http://www.isp-control.net/forum/ispcp-omega-100-rc5-t-3503-4.html Quote: UPDATE `domain` SET `domain_status` = 'change' WHERE `domain_status` = 'ok'; UPDATE `subdomain` SET `subdomain_status` = 'change' WHERE `subdomain_status` = 'ok'; UPDATE `domain_aliasses` SET `alias_status` = 'change' WHERE `alias_status` = 'ok'; UPDATE `mail_users` SET `status` = 'change' WHERE `status` = 'ok'; then run engine/ispcp-rqst-mngr and ran it to fix the mail database, but it still isn't working... Currently, on one domain, I have one email address where emails totally vanish, and two domains where I get a bounceback. If I add a forwarder to the bounceback ones, they forward, but still bounceback - and the emails don't go into the mail box... Should I just delete the emails addresses in the frontend, and start again? If so, how would I put the stored emails back into the mail boxes? Cheers, Jx RE: RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-22-2008 06:07 AM Ok - for awstats, I just created /var/cache/awstats... I don't know if it's actually generating data yet, but at least it is opening up... Jx RE: RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-22-2008 06:28 AM Ok - so the php.ini thing - I "can ignore this error"... I kept on reading it as you can't ignore this error... So I guess that one is ok... So now it's just the email... Anyone have any suggestions? RE: RC5 Update problems - vetch101 - 06-22-2008 06:27 PM Hi all, Ok - I think I've resolved it... I had the hostname as "ispcpmailserver.co.uk" and a virtual domain as ispcpmailserver.co.uk... I set the myhostname in the main.cf to be vps.ispcpmailserver.co.uk, restarted postfix and everything started working... Thanks for the help, Jx |
