Omega debianization purpose - Nuxwin - 07-21-2008 12:13 AM

Hi ;

It's been a while that I did not contribute because I am in full development. I make this announcement to offer my services as regards the possible debianization of omega for distributions Debian (etch - lenny) and Ubuntu (stable).

Does this interest you or not ?

If yes, I think proceed as follows:

-- download sources upstream;
-- Creating scripts with autoconf and automake to ensure portability (really necessary ?) ;
-- Debianization ...

It would be appropriate to give me a list of questions you want to see put on Debconf templates.

If users are familiar with the process of building a Debian package, they are welcome to a possible helping hand.

Take a look into svn! I mean Raphael started with this long time ago, but didn't end it. Smile

This is a good idea. It would make adoption so much easier for our users. +1
