Regenerate master configs? - aseques - 08-15-2008 02:27 AM Hi, I'd like to regenerate the master configuration for the server. Doing the stuff here: http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/howto/ispcp/regenerate_config Only recreates the created domains, but I'd like something that regenerates also the postfix/main.cf master.cf and the dns cache for the panel itself ... When upgrading from version to version it does already, but how to do it without altering the versions? Thanks! RE: Regenerate master configs? - RatS - 08-16-2008 10:19 PM not! It's not possible yet. And I cannot see any reason why to do it. RE: Regenerate master configs? - aseques - 08-18-2008 05:43 PM There are some moments I'd have need this, basically: .- I screw something of the configuration and I want to recover it to the default .- I want to change any of the templates (i.e. DNS) for all my company, for example if I replace ns2.example.com to dns.example.net (if outsourcing DNS). .- I want to adapt the templates and test them because when upgrading from rc6 to final nothing destroys my personal configurations Those are the cases I found so far, the 3rd one being the most dangerous because then I have t rely on my copies totally. |
